FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What is your return policy?

Due to the custom nature of our products, we cannot offer any refunds. We go through a thorough revision process to make sure that everything looks as it should. Please take your time and review all proofs before approving prints. Final proofs are the responsibility of the client.

What is your shipping policy?

We can accommodate both local and international shipping. If you’re shopping in our shop shipping fees will be calculated at check out. If you’re ordering semi-custom/full custom pieces your shipping fees will be calculated based on the weight and the shape of your package. This will be calculated once your order has been completed.

How long does shipping take?

Shipping times will vary depending on your location. Please let us know if you have shipping needs outside of Manitoba/Canada so that we may provide you with an estimate.

How many invitations should I get?

We suggest creating a rough guest list to see how many invitations you will need. One per household should be enough but consider the following exceptions: Couples who might be living apart, children older than 18 years of age, children not living at home.

We recommend ordering 20% extra of your total order. This is to accommodate any guest list changes as well as keepsakes.

Can I cancel my order?

The initial deposit is non-refundable, due to unforeseen circumstances we will try to our best to accommodate date changes, before your stationery has gone through production.

Unfortunately, we cannot cancel your order once it goes into production. Due to the current state of the pandemic, we will deal with date changes/event cancellations on a case by case basis.

If I had my own design, would you be able to print it for me?

We are a full service stationery studio, we currently do not offer printing services to the public.

When should I book?

We suggest booking about 12 months in advance or 18 months for destination weddings to ensure that your date is secured.

If you were planning a local (Manitoba) wedding with Save the Dates, we suggest booking 8 months before your wedding. If you were planning a local (Manitoba) wedding with only Wedding Stationery, we suggest booking at least 6 months before the wedding. Please keep in mind that we take a limited amount of weddings per month and cannot guarantee availability for last minute inquiries.

What is letterpress?

Letterpress is an old form of printing that uses a relief technique to get ink onto paper. Letterpress was previously used to publish newspapers, books and church pamphlets.

Letterpress is done using large metal machines that have been discontinued in the late 90s. Although it can be automated, we embrace the manual process of the machine by hand-feeding the paper and using a foot treadle/handle to process our prints.

This is how you get the beautiful de-boss/emboss effect.

Do you offer day-of stationery?

Yes!

We offer a wide variety of day-of stationery. The most popular of which are menus, place cards and welcome signs!

We offer this service as a custom service, so if you have any ideas we can help you bring them to life!
